Pickleball

IT IS THE TEAM MANAGER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE ONLINE SCHEDULE EVERY WEEK FOR ANY UPDATES OR CHANGES. 

SEASON: 7 weeks are scheduled for the regular season. The tournament will be the week after the regular season ends and the schedule will be published by the end of the regular season. 

SCHEDULE: Matches that are after the first match can be played as ready pickleball (if both teams have completed their first match you can start earlier than the posted start time).

AWARDS: 1st place team after tournament receives awards.

LEAGUE FORMAT: Each week teams will have two matches (3 games per match, play all 3 games). Games are to 11, teams must win by 2 points (max 15 pts).

SCORING: Regular scoring (no rally scoring). Scoring will be reported for the match. For example, if the home team wins 2 games in a match the reported score would be 2-1. The winner of 2 games in the match will receive the win. However, we still play all 3 games. 

REPORTING SCORES: Please report your scores within 24 hours of completion of your matches (2-1, 1-2, 0-3, 3-0 etc.). You will receive an email from Team Sideline with a link to report the score. The HOME TEAM will receive the link to report the score. If you notice any discrepancies with scores, please email cgammon@hylandhills.gov

FORFEITS: If you can't make your match this week, please notify Collin at least 24 hours in advance.  

SUBS: Teams can have subs for league play. No substitutes are allowed in the tournament.

WEATHER: In the event of inclement weather, an email will be sent out by 3pm on match day. 8 weeks are scheduled (7+tournament), 6 weeks are guaranteed. The first two weather cancellations will be removed from the schedule, after that matches will be rescheduled. 

All leagues will follow the rules from USA Pickleball, unless otherwise stated.
